Strong Q2 growth for OOH

Out-of-Home has continued its strong growth in 2010 netting a 22% increase in sales in quarter two compared to the same period in 2009, the Chief Executive of the Outdoor Media Association, Charmaine Moldrich, said today. Net revenue for the quarter increased to $110 million compared to $90 million in 2009. Shopper heat mapping

TorchMedia has developed proprietary supermarket heat mapping technology, which maps ‘hot spots’ in the supermarket down to category level, based on Nielsen Panorama data. Heat maps can be generated for specific shopper groups, based on the concentration of foot traffic throughout the store.
