We’ve curated a collection of the most creative and clever campaigns across all our formats for 2014. The standard was very high so it was hard to pick our favourites! See the winners and runners up below.
BEST CREATIVE 2014
WINNER – Tic Tac
SYDNEY TRAINS TRACKVIEW
Our favourite campaign of 2014 is the bright and colourful summer themed Tic Tac Tropical Trains Trackview. The creative featured on Sydney Trains in June, 2014, giving us a little taste of summer in winter.
RUNNER UP – Magnum 5 Kisses
GROCERY DIE-CUT FIN
The eye-catching and delicious Magnum 5 Kisses Grocery Fin is our second favourite campaign for 2014. It stood out at the shelf, featuring five different kiss types with different icecream flavours to match.
BEST INTEGRATED CAMPAIGN
WINNER – Optus
EASTERN SEABOARD TRAIN TRACKVIEWS
Our favourite integrated campaign is the Christmas and summer themed Optus Big Home Bundle which ran on our Trackview format across Sydney, Melbourne and Queensland trains.
RUNNER UP – Blackmores
GROCERY FIN & DIGITAL PHARMACY
We love the focus on alleviating effects of stress, alongside the bright colours and consistency across Pharmacy and Grocery in the Blackmores ‘no need to stress’ campaign.
RUNNER UP – Oreo
SHOPPERSCAPE & GROCERY FIN
We couldn’t choose just one runner up; we also love this vibrant Oreo campaign that stood out on our Shopperscapes and on Grocery Fins at the shelf.
WINNER – Guide Dogs
QUEENSLAND TRAINS TRACKVIEW
The Guide Dogs Queensland trains campaign swept the floor for cutest creative. We love the photos of adorable puppies and dogs and the way they contrast with the bright background.
RUNNER UP – Flora
We love this Flora ‘create your own plate’ campaign with simple, cute imagery and a fun promotion for kids to design their own plates.
BEST INTERACTIVE CAMPAIGNS
WINNER – Elastoplast
GROCERY FIN WITH INTERACTIVE SAMPLE
Our favourite interactive campaign for the year is the Elastoplast Grocery Fin with integrated product samples that allowed Shoppers to experience different band-aid types at the point of purchase.
RUNNER UP – Cadbury
GROCERY FIN WITH APP INTEGRATION
We also love this Cadbury Grocery Fin that allowed interaction with Shoppers through a special app, Snaploader, that gave them access to recipes and more.
MOST CLEVER CREATIVE
WINNER – Booking.com
TRAIN PORTRAIT SIDES
The most clever creative for 2014 is definitely the Booking.com Portrait Sides trains campaign that ran on Sydney Trains. The large, enticing holiday imagery along with the simple messaging makes you want to book a holiday ASAP.
RUNNER UP – Strongbow
We love this Strongbow Shopperscape for its simple and clever messaging with a double meaning; ‘setting a new standard’ and each drink equalling one standard drink.
MOST UNIQUE CREATIVE
WINNER – Kellogg’s Iron & Calcium
DIE-CUT GROCERY FIN
The most unique creative for 2014 is this Kellogg’s Iron and Calcium Fin that used die-cut techniques to create the shape of a milk bottle.
RUNNER UP – Peters Fandangles
GROCERY FIN WITH 3D
The Peters Fandangles campaign stood out for its bright and colourful creative that incorporated a unique 3D integration.
MOST EYE-CATCHING CREATIVE
WINNER – Mentos Very Berry
PETROL ENTRY POSTER
Hands down, Mentos Very Berry Petrol Entry Poster is the most eye-catching campaign of 2014. Featuring bright, juicy colours and simple messaging, it’s impossible to ignore.
RUNNER UP – Zooper Dooper
The space-themed Zooper Dooper creative featured on Grocery Fins with a fun illustration and simple messaging is definitely eye-catching for both kids and adults.
RUNNER UP – Subway
SYDNEY TRAINS TRACKVIEW
We also love the clear and simple creative and messaging on this Subway Trackview format that ran on Sydney Trains.
