Parramatta Light Rail

The Parramatta Light Rail is the newest premium transport network in the heart of Western Sydney’s growth corridor, allowing brands to access a rapidly expanding urban centre and capture a diverse and mobile audience.

13 Light Rail vehicles, each 45m long with capacity for ~300 passengers, service 16 stops along the 12km L4 – Westmead & Carlingford line. Advertising formats range from high-impact Full Wraps through to Portraits designed to build reach and frequency.

Parramatta attracts one of Sydney’s most diverse and commercially valuable audiences, bringing together professionals, students, healthcare workers, shoppers, residents, visitors and event goers. The local Parramatta audience is professionally employed, highly educated, and has a higher than average household income.

In addition, Parramatta over-indexes in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) audiences. More than half the population was born overseas, and three quarters (76.4%) of the population have one or both parents born overseas (ABS, 2021).

Averaging 400,000 monthly passenger journeys (TfNSW, Mar to Jun 2026), the Parramatta Light Rail network connects to every major growth precinct in Parramatta, including the CBD, Parramatta Square and Westmead (Australia’s largest health, education and research precinct). It also connects brands with Western Sydney’s leading destinations for sport, entertainment, retail and culture, including CommBank Stadium, Powerhouse Parramatta, Eat Street and Rosehill Racecourse.

On‑Vehicle advertising launches in October 2026, followed by an On‑Platform digital network coming in 2027. Advertisers can also extend their reach across Western Sydney with the Inner West Light Rail and Sydney Metro Northwest, or scale their presence across Sydney Light Rail, Adelaide Trams and Canberra Light Rail.
