SYDNEY METRO

The Sydney Metro has revolutionised travel for those living in some of the largest growth corridors in Sydney. It is one of the fastest growing modes of transport in Sydney, delivering more than 5.3 million monthly passenger journeys (Sept 24).

Australia’s first driverless railway, the Sydney Metro Northwest opened in 2019, consisting of 13 stations from Chatswood to Tallawong. In August 2024, an additional 8 stations opened, connecting the existing Metro Northwest line to the newly developed Metro City and Southwest. There are 45 fully automated trains which service all 21 Metro stations.

Premium digital displays are available at 12 Sydney Metro Northwest stations from North Ryde to Tallawong, featuring high-impact portraits and large format landscapes designed to capture commuters’ attention. TorchMedia’s extensive Sydney Metro Northwest portfolio also includes static displays on platform and concourse, large format ambient media executions and On-Train internal advertising. Campaign options range from strategic, targeted placements to full network coverage.

Positioned in close proximity to retail precincts, business parks and commuter hubs, the Sydney Metro is the perfect environment to influence commuters in a receptive mindset as they travel from the affluent Hills district, through to the Lower North Shore and Sydney CBD.
