News.com.au has relaunched their app with an attention grabbing, vibrantly coloured campaign. Brightening up the Sydney Light Rail and Sydney Metro, fun taglines remind commuters to download the app so they “don’t miss a ding”. The rainbow design is highly visible and brings fun to a wide range of diverse audiences across various touchpoints in Sydney.

Why we love it: News.com.au perfectly aligns their creative to the formats, with unique transport related taglines to catch the attention of commuters on the go.


National Portrait Gallery

Formats: Canberra Light Rail – Triple Carriage Wrap, Sydney Light Rail – Megaside & Sydney Metro – Interior Takeover

A multi-modal campaign across Canberra and Sydney allows the National Portrait Gallery to reach consumers who are passionate about the arts across multiple markets. The eye-catching creative contrasts black and yellow with iconic portrait imagery, increasing engagement amongst the target audience.

Why we love it: This fun, retro-style artwork creates personality and character across multiple premium Transit assets.


Metcash IGA

Formats: Canberra Light Rail – Portraits, Sydney Light Rail – Portraits, Adelaide Light Rail – Portraits, Sydney Metro – Interior Domination, Wall Media, Brisbane Trains – Trackview & Melbourne Trains – Trackview

IGA’s “You can’t beat Local” campaign used a combination of reach building transit formats for broad campaign exposure. Combined with an immersive Interior Domination on the Sydney Metro, the campaign leverages multiple formats to ensure high frequency and increased engagement amongst commuters across the country.

Why we love it: Using consistent branding and a range of creatives, IGA keeps their campaign fresh and visually engaging.


Commonwealth Bank

Formats: Sydney Light Rail – Full Wrap & Sydney Metro – Showcase

CommBank has taken a bold approach to celebrate their new brand platform with high impact transit formats. The large format Sydney Light Rail Full Wrap uses CommBank’s iconic black and yellow branding, making it a standout for passing commuters throughout the CBD. The Sydney Metro Showcases at Norwest, Castle Hill, and Epping Metro stations draw the attention of commuters in a captive environment.

Why we love it: CommBank’s new brand platform ‘Doubt Never Did’ is inspiring and motivating, evoking positivity for Sydney commuters.   


Mastercard

Formats: Sydney Metro – Digital Portraits

Mastercard have launched Transit Tales, where commuters can listen to reimagined classic stories from their mobile phone based on their journey duration. Various creative designs with bold colours and thought-provoking copy rotate across the Sydney Metro Northwest digital network, targeting commuters in these high footfall environments. This campaign encourages commuters to directly engage via integrated QR codes.

Why we love it: Multiple creative designs tie into the transit theme, repurposing network map designs in a fun and engaging way to promote this interactive campaign.
